About Alamo Roofing Contractors

Alamo Roofing Contractors is a GAF Master Elite certified roofing contractor based in Portage, Indiana. Founded in 2017, we serve homeowners and businesses throughout Northwest Indiana and northern Illinois — from Lake County and Porter County to Cook County, Will County, and DuPage County.

We are one of fewer than 3% of roofing contractors in the United States to hold GAF Master Elite certification — the highest level of certification offered by North America’s largest roofing manufacturer. This certification allows us to offer the GAF Golden Pledge warranty: 50 years of material coverage and 25 years of workmanship coverage, backed directly by GAF.

What GAF Master Elite Means for You

GAF Master Elite is not something you can buy — it has to be earned. To qualify, a contractor must be properly licensed, carry adequate insurance, maintain a verified track record of customer satisfaction, and complete ongoing training. GAF reviews and renews the certification annually.

Only GAF Master Elite contractors can offer the GAF Golden Pledge warranty — the most comprehensive roofing warranty available anywhere. It covers both materials AND workmanship for 25 years, and the coverage is backed by GAF itself — not just by us. Every qualifying project we install also receives a 40-point GAF factory inspection — an independent quality check by a GAF-trained inspector verifying the installation meets GAF’s standards before the warranty is issued.
